Specs and Quality
When it comes to compositing visual effects - quality matters.
Final Light offers only the highest possible quality of effects footage elements. Read more about our footage specs and quality:

Format: Photo-JPEG .MOV, Maximum Quality, Progressive format, 30fps (Some website previews are 15fps). |

Source: Currently many of our visual effects Toolkits are computer generated. CG source has the advantage of containing no film-grain. Other sources include DV and HD digicam. |

Resolution: Footage layer resolution varies anywhere from D1, 720x486 to 1500x1333 pixel resolution. This varies depending on the type of effect. |

Toolkit layer types: All layers are 24bit RGB and available with a black and white matte when not an Additive or other Overlay type of layer (where no matte is needed). Review our layer types. |

Delivery options: Download or shipped on CD-Rom or DVD-Rom. For downloading, WinZip or another archive program will be required to extract the Toolkits which are in .ZIP format to aid in security and limit download size. |
